A little calmer strip this week – sometimes I just like to establish mood.

People sometimes ask me which are the autobiographical bits of Sin Titulo. It’s not strictly autobio but this week I definitely feel like Alex here…

Here we are! The milestone 100th strip. and it’s only taken about a year longer to get here than it should have. Thanks to everyone for sticking with me through my erratic update schedule. As I’ve said many times before, I would love to be able to do this regularly but unfortunately it’s not always possible. I do my best! I appreciate everyone who’s been patient and supportive, though, thank you all.

Sin Titulo has been nominated for another award! This is almost embarrassing. This time it’s the Eagle Award, primarily for comics and creators in the UK but with a select few categories open to international work. If you want to go vote, please do so!

I’m about to leave for France again for a couple of weeks to attend some festivals and do some store signings. Full details can be found on my blog. If you are a French reader, please come and say hi!

Hi everyone, Apologies for disappearing for a couple of weeks. After I returned from my trip to the US I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to work on the strip, and also had some other pressing matters to attend to. But here I am again!

This was a difficult strip to write for some reason – I started it three times and scrapped it each time. I’m always interested to see the reactions to Carrie in the comments – most people seem to dislike her or think she’s a “bitch,” whereas I think she’s one of the most sympathetic characters…

Big thanks to everyone who came to visit me at the Boston Comic Con and C2E2. Next weekend is the always amazing TCAF in Toronto, at which we always try to have a great TX Comics presence, and this year should be no different. Please come and say hi!

Exciting news this week! If you haven’t already heard, Sin Titulo has been nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic! And if that wasn’t enough, my TX Comics colleage Karl Kerschl was also nominated (for the second time) for his strip The Abominable Charles Christopher. We’re both really happy and if either one of us wins, it’ll be a win for TX!

There will be a new Sin Titulo strip next week, but it will probably be a couple of days late, because I am in Chicago this week for the C2E2 convention, with other TXers Ramón Pérez and Scott Hepburn. We’ll be in Artist’s Alley at Row F tables 3 & 4, so come and say hello!

Hi everyone, here we are again. The big news this week is that I was nominated for another Shuster Award, this time for my mainstream print comics work – I’m up for Outstanding Canadian Artist, against such fearsome opponents as Darwyn Cooke, Stuart Immonen, and Chris Bachalo, all of whom are much more likely to win than me!

The other news is that DC Comics has announced that I am one of the six artists of The Return of Bruce Wayne miniseries. I know that I said I would be working only on Sin Titulo until I’ve finished with it, but come on, I had to take this. It’s Batman travelling through time. I’m doing the western issue, and you can check out a sketch over on my art blog. Don’t worry, though, I will have more than enough Sin Titulo strips finished by the time I get stuck into Cowboy Batman, so there should be no interruption in the story again.

Thanks for all your feedback last week, after reading over all the comments here on the site and on Twitter it seems like the majority of you prefer that I stick to Sunday updates rather than moving, so Sundays it is.
