I’ve tardily added a few names to the Donors List at the bottom – please forgive me for taking so long to update it, your donations are of course extremely appreciated!

Next weekend I will be at the Fan Expo in Toronto, look for the huge row of TX Comics banners in Artist’s Alley. See you there hopefully!

But *he* is! (Nosy, that is.)

    Not that I blame him.

  3. Rex Queems

Well at least its something innocuous that won’t get Alex into any trouble.

  4. dlaiyre

Just read Sin start to finish. I had read about half of it before, you have a wonderful way of keeping the story just out of reach, for the n’th time I have no idea what will happen next.

I feel lost for Alex right now.

    Good work, still loving it.

  5. Jethro McClellan

A gun (loaded? Unloaded? We’ll just have to wait to find out!), a street address he can actually visit; what could possibly be going through his mind?!?!

  6. Abdiel

stuff he can do with that gun… people and places he can visit, or just use it with him and fish all this lol, tanks again cameron this is getting better and better…

  7. Abdul

Like dlaiyre, read this from Page 1 to here in one sitting. I have no idea where this is going and I love it.

  8. Shane

In my opinion, if you ever got enough money, t-shirts would rock! Maybe with the tree on it? Just a suggestion..but again, I can see if money holds this back, I will definitely donate as soon as I have the money!

  9. Zach Q

I really feel for this guy and his never ending fever-dream.

  10. nick merrill

just caught up on the comic. i’m obsessed. keep it up!

  11. Angel Dimitrov

Just read the comic from the begining again, since the last time I read it was a while ago and I had almost forgotten what happend. I’m glad I did so I could be reminded why Sin Titulo is my favourite web comic. Keep it up man!

  21. John

    Oh. Oh, dear.
Found this comic a few hours ago, and I’ve been reading through, laughing along the way at all the screaming comments of “I just caught up and can’t wait for the next installment!”
Now…it’s here. I’m one of those people. There is no Next, and I feel small.
Cross fingers and hope tomorrow’s an update Sunday, I guess.
    F5…F5…F5…

Seriously, as just about everybody else has said, this is a really amazing story, and you have a great rhythm down. When this goes to press, believe me that a lot of people are receiving this the folllowing Christmas. Shhh.

  22. Jen

I saw this on drawn, it looked interesting, but this is wayyy better than what i imagined! It keeps everyone on edge, and I have no idea what could be going on! Update next sunday! :D

  24. The Grinning Bandit

Felt I ought to chime in my support. A friend linked me to this, earlier tonight, and I read straight through the entire archive. It has been a fantastic read thus far. Keep it up.

  29. WatchingPreacher

Wow. I just catched up on all 105 pages on this fantastic webcomic, and I am DYING to see what’s next!

    Stunning work, Cameron. ;)

  30. Ubik

All that’s missing is the inscription, “PROPERTY OF ANTON CHEKHOV.”

  31. betty_tron

damn it damn it damn it… i’d only just come across the comic, read it in one sitting… and now i’m up-to-date. i don’t wanna be up-to-date! i wanna keep reading! this is riveting stuff cameron! absolutely first class comic writing, great art, crazy twisted plot… can’t wake for next week. where’s the rss button?

  32. Hayato

I’ve just read the whole comic. I’ve never heard of it until I watched an interview with Cameron. I am amazed. Really interesting story. I love how it always contains a cliffhanger!

    P.S. Hi, Angel Dimitrov. (Zdrasti ;) )

  33. dave jones

That was amazing. Like most people who seem to be commenting today….I came here from drawn. I read the first page and thought “starting with a dream sequence…that’s a bit of a tired old trick” But the art was good so I thought I would give it another few pages. And every page from then on was an absolutely gripping cliffhanger (and the initial dream sequence justified) and I compulsively clicked though the whole set an I’m hooked and will be back here every week till its done. It’s going to be a tough decision or you whether you should go the self publishing route or pick from one of the publishers who will be throwing themselves at your feet. It might work out better for you to self publish. And it is impossible to imagine that some isn’t going to be chasing you to turn this into a movie sometime soon. I would be interested to hear how detailed a plan you have for the story. Do you already have a full script of what is going to happen page by page? Or are you still working out where its all going to go. I cant imagine that you’re just making it up from on week to the next.
I’d love to hear a bit about about that side of the process as I’m in the early stages of churning out a graphic novel myself and my plan had been to pretty much thumbnail the whole thing before I started producing finished art.

  34. Jeff

Hope you enjoyed the shower Alex. Back down the rabbit hole!

  35. Fabien Mayer

My friend, this is absolutely brilliant!

I began to read your story in french and then came to your site to be up-to-date :)

    Please continue!

  36. Dainty

I read aboutt his on Drawn (click ‘Dainty’ to see article) and I’m happy I came here, it’s an interesting and intriguing read!

Do you have an RSS feed so I can put this in my Google Reader? I tried using the main link but it seems to feed me the comments from readers instead of strips.

    Thank you!

  37. joe bloke

fantastic stuff, Cameron. like a lot of people, I came in here late, read through in the one sitting, and am now captured, hook, line, & sinker. I hope you don’t mind, but I gave the strip a “shout out” on my own blog. once again, fantastic work. can’t wait for the next page. . .

  38. Rob Cottingham

Dainty – Try http://feeds.feedburner.com/sintitulocomic – it worked for me.

  39. loremipsum

On one hand, I hope he doesn’t head to Vacek’s address, because that would be reckless.

But on the other gun-holding hand, it’d be interesting.

  40. Bungdeetle

    UPDATE >:C

  41. MccoyElsa24

Do not enough cash to buy a car? Worry not, because it’s possible to take the personal loans to resolve such problems. Hence take a college loan to buy all you need.

  42. Abdiel

    it is been a while… 8(

  43. Don Cox

I think he only works on sintitulo between paying jobs, so it may take years to complete the story.

  44. Roshan

I read the first page, and now I’m at this page and I don’t know how much time has passed. You’ve really hooked me, man. Please do write more.

  45. migue

Hope you upload soon. You kind forget what was going on when you read a page once a month. =(

[...] Kerschl. I’ve mentioned their comics here before, go check them out, amazing stuff – Sin Titulo and The Abominable Charles Christopher. But i wanted to mention another TX strip in this post, one [...]

  47. morodrim

gah, the wait is killin me, Smalls. more awesomeness soon please!

  48. n

    Mr. Stewart,

I really enjoy reading Sin Titulo–I find the art, the story, everything–very compelling. However, although we readers love your story and your artwork, we would really appreciate some notice when you’re not going to update for a long time. I understand that you don’t want this comic to be full of deadlines like your paid work, but at the very least, an estimation of how long you will be gone will help you from losing readers. We’re really happy that you’ve gotten acclaim for your work online–you deserve it for the quality of work you do–but as a webcomics artist, you are not doing a very good job. Other members of TX Comics, like Kukuburi and Abominable Charles Christopher, have been pretty good at giving their readers a head’s up when they take long leaves for work or personal reasons. If you continue doing this, I have a suspicion that those of us who are primarily webcomics readers–will stop hitting F5 for updates or even visiting this page because it’s just depressing to never see the story move forward.

Thank you for contributing to the webcomics world with this enthralling story. I hope you continue to do so. However, please try and consider the readers when you decide to go on long breaks.

  49. Winston Greene

    Mr. n,

Don’t speak for everybody because you’re impatient. Read the FAQ: “I don’t earn anything from Sin Titulo, and I sometimes have to let my paying work take precedence. I began Sin Titulo as a project for myself, and I would rather do a strip that I’m proud of than hack one out to meet a weekly deadline.” Poor guy must be busy with real work, don’t go busting his balls because you’re not happy. It’s free to read, it’s fantastic so far, and you’re complaining? The hell does he care if he loses readers like you, it’s not like you’re his source of income. True fans can bite the bullet and wait.

  50. Fredrik

    Mr. Winston Greene,

Don’t speak for true fans just because you’re patient.
I believe Mr. n only meant that it would be very nice to know he’ll be away from the comic for a while.
Many webcomics die like this you know.

  51. morodrim

I agree with Fredrik and n. We all understand that this is a “side project” of sorts. But it’s also a pretty popular and award winning side project. All they, and myself, are asking for is a simple update to give us a heads up when he might be able to revisit work on Sin Titulo. It’s just a bit disheartening to come here regularly with no update and no word of when it might start back up. If I knew that it wont get updated until say..January of next year, it’d be “gah noo! but that’s cool, can’t wait!” type of thing. Much better than sitting in limbo week to week.

  52. Anna

Thank you, n. My sentiments exactly. At the least, it would be handy if the site went directly to the last updated page.

  53. clumpoftrees

I have never read a better paced comic (online or printed). Each page is as satisfying as reading a full 22 page issue.

This guy writes some haunting stuff in the most subtle ways. That “creature” that appears in his room? C’mon! The way it sits half concealed is like noticing a huge ass spider in the corner of your room. Brilliant.

It doesn’t hurt that the guy is extremely nice and fun to talk to. You’re one of the best, Cameron. Thanks for shedding some light on Aaron’s big break at Vertigo. Gives me hope.

  54. Jeremy

I think Fredrik and N. need to shut the fuck up. The amount of crap that people pass as “decent” art these days is rather pathetic. I agree, what Cameron Stewart has created here is some absolutely brilliant work, but it’s of his own free time!

Stop being such elitist web-comic readers that sit and surf the web all day looking for something to entertainment you. What, are you all five year olds? If you don’t like the pace at which Stewart puts out this comic, go make your own. If any of you supposed “true” web comic fans have any idea how much time it takes to produce a comic book, you just might stop being assholes.

  55. Steve

You know, I set a calendar reminder to check back here every week or so. It’s always a joy to find a new episode, but never a disappointment not to. Keep doing what you’re doing, Mr. Stewart. I love it.

  56. Cameron

Hi everyone, I do read all of the comments, but I wanted to sit and digest all of this before I responded. I do want to say thank you to the people who are supporting me, but I do have to ask Jeremy to refrain from calling people names or being abusive. That’s not cool.

In response to n’s request that I let people know when I am going on break, the reason that I do not is that, quite simply, I don’t always know when I am. It’s not that I decide to go on long breaks, every week I have the intention of working on the strip, but often I get too busy with other contract work, or I have things in my personal life that crop up unexpectedly, or sometimes I’m just simply not in the mood to work on it. As I have said many times before, creating Sin Titulo on a weekly basis is something I would love to do, but it is often difficult or impossible for me to do it, and so long ago I withdrew any promise that it would be a regular weekly strip. You hopefully understand that I do not receive any payment to work on Sin Titulo. Some readers (but only a very small number, in comparison to the thousands that read it) have been generous enough to voluntarily donate, and I truly appreciate every penny of it, but it is not enough to support me working on it regularly. I put the strip online for free, and it will remain free until it is finished, and so you will hopefully forgive me if I do not feel any obligation to provide it on demand. I want to work on it when I am comfortable and in the right frame of mind to do it, not because it is expected of me, and I feel that is part of what has made it creatively successful so far. As for finding it “annoying” when you check the site and see no update, I really don’t know what to say about that, short of saying that it can’t possibly take you more than 20 seconds out of your day to check it and so it’s not really that much of a waste of your time. Again, I very much appreciate that you enjoy the story, I know that your complaints stem from the fact that you are enjoying it, but you’ll have to be patient with me. I can’t say it any plainer than that. Please use the RSS feed, it will notify you when there is a new strip online.

I am very close to signing a publishing deal with a major publisher for the book, and so once that is inked, I will be committed (legally!) to finishing it, so please don’t think that the story will die. It will be finished. I also want to assure all the readers that it will remain free here on the website, I will not force anyone to buy the book to see the conclusion. Thanks again, sincerely, for your patience, I appreciate all the readers, disgruntled or not.

  57. Winston Greene

    Cheers!

  58. Anna

Thank you for responding! You can be sure I will keep checking this site for your quality work, no matter the delay.

  59. PeterD

Thanks for the Update Cameron! Sin Titulo will be the first comic book/graphic novel that I’ve purchased since I was a teenager in the 90′s. Thanks for all of your hard work and I look forward to its release.

  60. Adam

Great work Cameron. I just picked up a few prints, and cheap! Page 93 (blood splatter) and page 100 (paint splatter). I think the juxtaposition will be nice when framed on my wall! Let me know if the original inks are ever available, I’d love to purchase them!

  61. David

Just wanted to add another voice of a reader waiting patiently for more of the story. I’m not a heavy reader of comics or graphic novels, but I’ve enjoyed following Sin Titulo.

  62. BlakeAstro

loving this so far… keep up the good work sir. (can’t wait for the new batman and robin issue either.)

also: for all of the people complaining about not being able to link directly to the current page, just bookmark this link: http://www.sintitulocomic.com/newest-page/

    i never understood this hubbub.

  63. Andy

Yay! It’s refreshing just to see a post, Cameron. It’s like when I wake up from a nightmare and keep nudging my wife until she wakes up and tells me to knock it the fuck off – it still just feels better once I know she’s there. My comfort and patience has been restored.

  64. n

    Hi,

Wow, I did not expect such fierce responses. I apologize for speaking on behalf of “the readers” opposed to simply referring to my personal stance, but this was only after reading four comments before mine (on just this update) expressing dissatisfaction with the lack of updates for so long.

Winston Greene, I am not a Mr.

I am glad that Mr. Stewart was kind enough to realize that my comments stemmed from my appreciation of his work and not of any ill intentions. I really do enjoy Sin Titulo, and that is precisely why I found it frustrating to never know when an update will occur. Mr. Stewart, thank you so much for responding to the comment thread; I really appreciate a fuller explanation of your absences. I hope you are in the right frame of mind to work on this strip again soon and I look forward to the publication of this trip in book form.

  65. Sebastian

I just found the german translation of Sin Titulo on Die Biblyothek and – frozen hell – I couldn’t stop at the point the story is there, so I catched a dictionary and came over here to read through the whole existing comic.
You Mr. Stewart have done a great job so far and I admire both story and art – but I will not come back before Christmas. The waiting after every damn artfull cliffhanger would kill me.

    Greetings from Germany

  66. Caetano J.

Knowing that the story won’t die is good enough. Keep up the good work, Cameron

  67. Jeremy

    Hey Everyone,

I would like to apologize for the rather harsh criticisms that I wrote. I was way out of line. I appreciate that Cameron maintains an open communication with his readers, and it really isn’t necessary to ever get to worked up over nothing.

My sincere apologies if I offended anyone. Fingers crossed that this comic finds a home and gets published.

  68. michael

just subscribe to the RSS and get the update to your mailbox when it’s out.
    \what’s the problem?

  69. limonpower

    Dear Cameron,
Please try to continue the comic!
we need to know what happens!!

  70. Hazel

Just found this today– you’ve got an amazing storyline going here.

  71. Glennnn

I’m used to the occasional updates of SinTutulo. I wish there was a more regular schedule but that’s not how intelligent and fine art happens.
But I use the time to seek out and enjoy other delights on the web. One of these is called SMBH. That’s Super Massive Black Hole. A science-fiction hard-edge story. The author is a workaholic and updates at least 5 times a week and sometimes 10 or more when he gets impatient with a story-line.
    The art is sensational ! ! !
Many of the chapters have been put to Flash Videos with sound-tracks.
If you haven’t read a great space opera yet this might be the place to start.
Just don’t forget to keep checking back here for updates !

  72. Rex Queems

Hey, I missed your update! Thanks for filling us in. Looking forward to reading assassin’s creed in the meantime.

  73. fathertime

aaaieeeeeee.. slowest updater ever.. i give up .. no longer worth following

  74. Obolus

… or rather “absolutely” worth following.

Ignore the impatient ones, Mr. Stewart. Sin Titulo is vital work.

  75. Dave

    Shit’s hardcore.

  76. misalignedkeynote

I just finished reading all 105 pages, without stopping to even move. I read many forms of literature, engage in various artistry, and still in all my years, I have never found a work like Sin. It is beautifully gritty, fantastical, and every single episode/page is enthralling. Thank you Cameron for writing this and not giving up on your God-given talent.

Sincere congratulations. The wait is well worth the art in your case.

  77. Peter

Cameron: Do what you need to do to get back to the comic in your own time. I, for one, will be happy when you do, but I’m also content in waiting for the rest of the story for however long is needed. It’s quite an interesting read and, so far, worth that wait, indeed.

  78. Abdiel

its like midseason…. the wait will be worth

  79. TRIPLETS

Alright Camera Steward. Hope everything’s going okay with you. Can understand that you’re mad busy at the moment with work and/or life (delete as applicable) but would love to see this moving again as it’s an ace thriller.

OH! Any news on the deal?

  80. Sarah

Hello! I hope you are doing well. I just started reading your comic and I am enjoying it. I took a Graphic Novel class in school and feel like I can really appreciate this piece of work. I look forward to more pages, but no rush, please take your time! I hope you have a good holiday season and that you can get all your projects done with great success!! Huzzah~! :]
    ~S

  81. Caetano J.

I don’t mean to be rude, but 4 months is almost surely a point of no return. I hope you get back to making more pages, but i’m only checking again in another 2 months

  82. Constantine

@Caetano J. – You do know he’s busy being PAID to work on the Assassins Creed Comics yea? cut some slack and toss it Cams way.

  83. Kuhan

GAAAAAAAHH!!! YOU’RE TEARING ME APART, CAMERON!!! I wish I was rich and could pay you to just do this

  84. monk

    this comic is officially dead!

  85. Cameron

    No it isn’t.

  86. qwertyuiop645

    I lol’d. Love you, Cameron.

  87. Ryan Frazier

Huge fan, looking forward to seeing the next page and ultimately buying the book once it’s ready!

  88. Rob

Looking forward to the continuation. I check back about twice a week since it stopped.. It’s too fantastic for me to give up on! I really hope you get a bit of time to delve back into this :D – it’s worth it!!

  89. collette

    Alright, cameron ..

I told ya last night that i was sucked into this story .. continued it.while rolling around in bed this morning and suddenly, no “next page” to click on. :-( hmph.

As soon as assassin’s creed is done you haveeeee to finish the story for me. :-P i NEED to know whats going to happen next. Haha.

As always, amazing work with a great story line. Keep it up (not that i really have to tell ya to).

  90. A fan

You starting this story, then not finishing it, would be like giving a small child ice cream for the first time, then making sure that they NEVER HAD ICE CREAM AGAIN.

    Just sayin’. :D

  91. kaitlyn

i love the story but i hate having to wait so long for new pages :/

  92. Scott T

love your strip! easily the best on the web. it reads like a professionally done printed comic , not like most others that feel very amateurish. is that a word. just read the entire thing one sitting. it does have that lost like mystery feel to it and I love that. I found myself all day brainstorming theories. what the he’ll is going on!?!? you have created a great little piece of art and story here and I will proudly recommend this to people. can’t wait to read more and love to hear that you are going to be dedicated to this thing in february? I think thats what I read. your blog is a good read as well. keep up the good work.

  93. Sara

One of the other artists who works on the assassin’s creed project also has a comic online (Karl Kerschl’s The Abominable Charles Christopher) and continually updates, so its not just this one new project he has, he obviously has other things on his plate. What bugs me the most is when artists disappear without updates letting us know when they think they might get back to the comic and/or what is going on. Its been 5 months since any update, which is a bit much. Yes I know he’s busy, but it doesn’t take that long to post a bit of information on when to expect more and what is going on to stall it.

  94. GrimeTime

This comic should be renamed Sin Terminar. (Without Finish)

  95. Tdot

Hi Cameron, lets us know how you are doing.

    T

  96. Margie

Free, huh? Guess you get what you pay for. It took all of ten minutes to read your little opus. Meh. Stories like this are told by people who don’t have an actual story to tell.

  97. Scott T

Why is everyone still complaining. He is finishing it. Read before you complain. The answers are here … http://www.sintitulocomic.com/newest-page/

    And it says …

Hey everyone, thanks very much for your kind patience and support, and/or snarky hostile comments and email criticizing me for not providing free entertainment for you.

Sin Titulo is returning in February. I have money in the bank to support myself (from my work on Assassin’s Creed: The Fall, on sale now!), I have an impending publishing deal for a print edition, and I have time. In February, Sin Titulo will return, hopefully updated as a daily strip, and will take a couple of months to run until its completion. It will remain free on the web and then, hopefully in late 2011, be available for purchase as a hardcover book.

That’s the news! Happy holidays, everyone!

Thanks for the (so far) great comic. Look forward to seeing more!

  98. Nicole

    February’s almost here! :)

  99. Cameron

That’s true, but I’m not going to be resuming the strip until mid February, so don’t expect to see anything on Feb 1. ;)

    Patience, it’s coming back…

  100. incredibly silly human

Hello! I read through every strip of this comic today, and I would just like to say that I think it’s fantastic so far and I’m really wrapped up in the story.

I’m lucky, I think, in that I’ve discovered this now, because I won’t have to wait very long until it resumes updating in February. I don’t think you should rush yourself and I will wait as politely and patiently as I possibly can for updates, but oh boy this is addictive. Can’t wait! I hope you keep up the good work. Thank you for providing me with such delicious entertainment!

  101. Cameron

For an incredibly silly human, you’re also an incredibly reasonable and gracious one. Thanks!

  102. tony schneil

I am finding deeper meanings to this page every time I look at it,I do not need to read on because the answers are all here,ITS OBVIOUS!

  103. Rachel XS

I am so excited for Sin Titulo to start up again!! I have read through it and re-read through it at least four times. Beautifully drawn and an amazing story line that I have yet to even begin to figure out. Take as long as you need to make it good :) If it’s free, I can’t complain!! (And thanks for that little bonus)

  104. Matthew JLD Rice

    Mr. Stewart–

“Sin Titulo” is amazing, sir! I’d heard about it some months back but didn’t dive in. Today, thanks to much down-time at the day-job, I’ve finally indulged myself with what must be one of the better pieces of graphic fiction I’ve laid eyes upon. That creepy-ass tiki statue is going to haunt me now… Thanks a lot! And those little flashback vignette scenes are so heartfelt that they must have more than just a kernel of truth to them. I feel that your format of 8 panels per page has kept a pretty balanced pace throughout the series– just long enough to do some major story-telling and leave us with a gut-punch; be it trippy or emotional! Great stuff man!

Glad to hear (or read, rather) that I hopped on-board this train as it is about to take off again? I’ll be one of your patient readers… and I’ll definitely be getting the printed version of this baby, when available! Do you know what percentage of the story is completed or is it more or less up in the air? Not that I care either way. I’ll be checking in regardless…

Thank you so much for your time and care that went into crafting this marvelous little tale!

P.S. Any more “Apocalipstix” in the works? I really kind of dug that one!

I’ll admit I’m certainly not The Word on what makes a great comic, but I will officially vote this series AMAZING! After the first few pages, I was hooked! Please, please, please, keep doing what you do!

Wow, it’s starting again! Great news! I just hope it does not turn into the same kind of return as Streta’s November return, pr Kukubiri’s imminent return :p But now I am already complaining in advance, before I even have anything resembling a reason to…
But ye, eventually, I’d also love to see a Sin titulo hardcover in my bookshelf, next to the artwork book!

Did you hear that, Mr. Stewart? Your webcomic is so good, you can finally give up your career in comics to write research papers for lazy graduate students! They finally found you, buddy!

  112. Finally, Another Page Of Cameron Stewart’s Sin Titulo After Six Month Gap | Daringminds

[...] Okay, Sin Tutulo is a late webcomic. Cameron Stewart has been busy on Assassin’s Creed: The Fall, Batman And Robin and Suicide Girls (the comic, not just visiting the website) – but finally we get to see what happens after the gun was spied (which was way back in mid-August!) [...]
