So Alex’s desire to have Carrie believe him was so strong that he was able to project his dream beach into her mind, for a moment. At least that’s my best guess. Either Alex is developing extra-sensory powers or some other unexplained power is intervening on his behalf to get Carrie to believe his story.

In all seriousness, I am loving this. You’re a master storyteller! Right when I think I have a feel for where it’s going, you introduce a new complication, and it never feels contrived.
Wow. It’s amazing how far this comic has come along. Looking back to the early pages, the style has become so detailed. On the other hand, the delivery of the story remains simple. Thanks for that.
I love how her brother looks a little bit like her; your attention to detail is really amazing. You can capture so much emotion with just a few lines! *sigh* I want to be an artist like you one day

If they were smart (and had been listening as Alex described what has been happening to him) they would be running from him.
The effect is possibly centered on Alex, or has been “stalking” him. (Now there’s a scary thought!)
Too bad he hasn’t managed to explain more about the situation.
Not that it would do any good, but at least there might be a tiny bit of satisfaction.
