Hi everyone, Apologies for disappearing for a couple of weeks. After I returned from my trip to the US I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to work on the strip, and also had some other pressing matters to attend to. But here I am again!
This was a difficult strip to write for some reason – I started it three times and scrapped it each time. I’m always interested to see the reactions to Carrie in the comments – most people seem to dislike her or think she’s a “bitch,” whereas I think she’s one of the most sympathetic characters…
Big thanks to everyone who came to visit me at the Boston Comic Con and C2E2. Next weekend is the always amazing TCAF in Toronto, at which we always try to have a great TX Comics presence, and this year should be no different. Please come and say hi!

“I thought it would make a good story”
well, at least he was right about that.

Carrie is very sympathetic, Alex is too close to all the crazy shit that has been happening to him to realize how crazy it really is. Carrie’s reactions are to me understandable and realistic, she is the most sane character we’ve met so far and I like her because of that.

Awesome, just awesome.

Dresline beat me to it.

And now we get a better look at Alex’s motivations — it’s not pretty. Up until now, the story has been from his eyes, so we haven’t had a good, hard look at his personality.
Wow.

I just reread the whole thing from the start, I kind of got lost on the story due to the hiatus (no worries). My god it is a fantastic read, can’t wait for more.

I still think we should give Alex a break. He was raised in a very tumultuous family with lots of issues!

I just think since we’ve been over alex shoulder so much, I (over)sympathize with his plight, and think carrie is being “unfair”. Then again we do have an omnipresent view of what’s really happening, as much as is let on anyway…
Either way, it’s riveting!

Intrigante.

Hey, Cameron. I read through the full thing last week and was really impressed. It reads really well as a “book,” in one sitting, but now having to wait a week (or more) between each new page is going to drive me mad! I’m not usually a big fan of webcomics for that reason, but now that I’m hooked on this one, I’m going to have to continue reading.
Heard you were in Montreal for Free Comic Book Day, and I wanted to go say hi, but I never made it to that comic book store. Next time, maybe.
Cheers.

This comic is one of the best I’ve read. Great pacing, mystery (oh God, the MYSTERY), drama, characters, and drawings. I’m very curious as to what the source of Alex’s problems/dreams are. Is he really insane, or is something supernatural going on?

This webcomic SO deserves a forum. An easier format for posting comments and speculations with other people are always fun.
