Exciting news this week! If you haven’t already heard, Sin Titulo has been nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic! And if that wasn’t enough, my TX Comics colleage Karl Kerschl was also nominated (for the second time) for his strip The Abominable Charles Christopher. We’re both really happy and if either one of us wins, it’ll be a win for TX!
There will be a new Sin Titulo strip next week, but it will probably be a couple of days late, because I am in Chicago this week for the C2E2 convention, with other TXers Ramón Pérez and Scott Hepburn. We’ll be in Artist’s Alley at Row F tables 3 & 4, so come and say hello!

Congratulations on the nominations for TX. It seems things are going to get worse for Alex. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
April 11th, 2010 at 11:03 am
Damn, Alex is having a pretty shitty day huh :/
April 11th, 2010 at 11:07 am
Hey Congrats man, TX is amazing and Sin Titutlo it’s very wonderful!
April 11th, 2010 at 12:54 pm
Congrats on the nomination!!
April 11th, 2010 at 4:51 pm
Sheesh, adding insult to injury. I hope she gets out of this conversation unscathed!
April 11th, 2010 at 5:11 pm
Congrats, dude! This is very interesting stuff, as confusing and wild as it is.
Good lord, what in her right mind is giving her the idea to bring *that* subject up in the midst of this? I mean, that’s important, but not as important as your husband being hunted down as a cop killer, and he doesn’t believe he did anything wrong!
If I were him, the thoughts that would be running through my head would be something like, “I need to explain what has happened to me, why isn’t she worried about me?! How could she not have reacted in anything besides anger after I was drugged and dragged to the middle of nowhere?! The middle of *nowhere!!* I could have been murdered, myself! She hasn’t thought that maybe the drugs I received did some awful thing to me? Maybe I should tell her what I think.”
I’m not shooting you down, or anything, here, quite the opposite. I don’t ordinarily do this for webcomics, but you could say I’m thinking along with this comic. It’s a psychological thriller. It’s fun (and aggravatingly crazy) for reading!

Nothing like kicking a man when he’s down. Is she in on it too?
April 12th, 2010 at 2:43 am
Congrats on your nomination and for a Sin Titulo in general. I look forward to every installment.

So just thought to check back in here to see if you picked it back up. The guy combusting was a great way to go on sabbatical – but have to admit being a bit disappointed that you haven’t addressed it.

Those Eisner people know what they’re talking about… this and Abominable are easily my favourite running webcomics. Congratulations!
April 12th, 2010 at 11:43 am
That backstory keeps on coming. Can’t wait to pay money for this.
April 12th, 2010 at 4:00 pm

April 12th, 2010 at 9:15 pm
Oh Schnapps! Double-whammie. Congrats Cam and WTF Carrie?!
April 12th, 2010 at 11:38 pm
yeesh. I’d have preferred the stabbing.
April 13th, 2010 at 11:17 am
Gosh… that’s one answer… Congrats for the Eisner nomination by the way, you for sure deserve it !
April 14th, 2010 at 12:01 am
Nice one.
I never liked Carrie anyway.
Maybe she’s always been a phoney and Alex is about to get the Truman show experience with added knifing :p
April 17th, 2010 at 6:08 pm
I trust something more than we can see is going on here, because this scene feels a little soap operatic. Waiting anxiously for next week’s strip.
April 19th, 2010 at 5:32 pm
WHAT A BITCH
April 24th, 2010 at 2:06 pm
I can’t believe I caught up on this series so fast. I want more!
April 24th, 2010 at 7:13 pm
Congrats on the nomination and awesome work on Sin Titulo can’t wait for the paper format to be out. This is certainly a mind trip and I am awaiting to see what is going to happen next. This has become “water cooler” talk on Mondays at work.

I never got the impression that Carrie was his wife, just a girlfriend. And I have to say I can’t blame her for her reaction, after all the bizarre stuff that Alex has been doing. She doesn’t know all of the back story that we do. All she sees is her boyfriend becoming totally obsessive, getting physically combative with cops, landing in the hospital with an arrest warrant over his head, evading capture, and then appearing on her doorstep covered in blood. I’d be a bit freaked out too if I were in her position.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:58 pm
Um…why all the hating on Carrie? She’s his girlfriend and all the news (not to mention his behavior) is telling her that her boyfriend’s gone psycho.
*glances up and reads Lynne’s reply*
Oh…yeah! What she said! It amazes me that people think Carrie should be all, “Oh, honey, come in here and let me help you. I don’t care that you’re covered in blood that’s probably not your own or that you might be a psychopathic murderer–let’s just set that all aside and let me kiss your boo boos.”
April 30th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
Carrie was getting irritated with Alex way back when this all started happening.
By now she’s asking, “Why me?”
On the more sinister side, I would think that it’s just about time for THEM to appear again….
Alex needs to clean up, get some clean clothes and run for the nearest exit!

Did Cameron die? :c
May 2nd, 2010 at 8:20 pm
I’ve been wondering the same thing…
May 3rd, 2010 at 5:43 pm
Geesh, Carrie isn’t being very understanding, although I guess it’s hard to see her point of view when we’ve been able to see all the craziness Alex has gone through. Still, I’d want to at least listen to what he had to say, even if it was way back when things first started to get weird. I guess she is so fed up with the issues she’s bringing up now that she never had much patience or sympathy to start with. Ok fine so now I understand her motivation after all. If she was already fed up with him, all this must have just pissed her off more. Poor Alex!

All of which Glennnnn already said, and I did not read. Doh.
