Been reading (and enjoying) for awhile now and never felt the need to comment until my browser opened and my eyes were drawn to panel #7 immediately. Wow….just WOW! Can’t say that I was expecting that! Keep up the great work.
I’ve never had this many comments in such a short time. It’s very gratifying. Please, readers, continue to make yourselves heard each week, it keeps me energized!
Holy crap. Best “kicking the story into gear” I’ve ever seen! Cameron, you’re a genius. “Whudd” Ha ha, just beautiful. Keep up the great work. If you could update more often, like twice a day, that’d be nice… thanks.
Very nice… Damn, I wish I hadn’t found this comic yet, so I could just be tearing through the archives….
Particularly good touches I want to point out:
* the taxi he has to pay to get there, because his car is smashed up
* the tinny and madly cheerful/surreal music in the lobby and in the elevator
* the slowness of the elevator doors opening
…on top of everything else.
Yeah, I’m convinced.
I also have no clue where this will go from here.
Thanks Rob! Funny that you note the sound of the music in the elevator and the slowness of the doors opening – both of those things are in your head! It’s exactly what I wanted the reader to think of but I find it interesting that you credit me with them when it’s something that your imagination has filled in on its own.
Also, Alex’s car wasn’t smashed up, it was just taken by Leon. The story of it being smashed was a lie he told his co-worker to explain his injuries.

February 10th, 2008 at 2:49 pm
Oh, Hell yeah! That’s not the type of development I want to have to wait a week to see develop further.

February 11th, 2008 at 7:07 am
haha, I hope he’s planned out what he’s going to do next…personally I was expecting him to call his own cell phone and talk to Vacek directly.
Awesome, awesome strip man, keep it up!
February 11th, 2008 at 7:14 am

February 11th, 2008 at 7:44 am

Great series! Best part of my monday morning.
February 11th, 2008 at 8:13 am
John said “personally I was expecting him to call his own cell phone and talk to Vacek directly.”
Dammit, that’s a much better idea.
February 11th, 2008 at 8:14 am
Haha! Oh, Wesley, how the tables have turned!
Got a little boo-boo? I bet it STINGS a bit.
Very gratifying.
February 11th, 2008 at 10:25 am
Shit, why does he always have to gt himself in trouble? couldn’t he wait until Wesley was alone in an alley or something?
February 11th, 2008 at 10:55 am
Well it wouldn’t be nearly as interesting for you readers, would it?
Thanks everyone!
February 11th, 2008 at 2:50 pm
I believe the phrase “YAAAAARRRRRRRRGH!” is appropriate here. At least for me.
February 11th, 2008 at 3:14 pm
This comic got so awesome so quickly. Cameron, you’re drawing pure heroin. Keep up the good work!
February 11th, 2008 at 3:38 pm
Aww, poor wesley!
February 11th, 2008 at 6:15 pm
Indeed, that was completely unexpected. But hell, I loved it.

hoooray
someone with a good what appears to be an actual good storyline for a comic. keep up the good work. Sin City had nothing on this.
February 14th, 2008 at 5:14 am
And now Alex is going to jail.
Not the smartest thing hitting an employee with a fire extinguisher inside a hospital.
February 14th, 2008 at 5:53 am
YES! The moment I’ve been waiting for! The protagonist stops letting himself be acted upon and starts acting upon his circumstances. Great work!
February 14th, 2008 at 2:44 pm
Nice, I likes me some payback.
Also, you are turning these pages out quickstyle. Props!

Now don’t we all love violence!
This part made me so happy
